• At the 2009 Phi Sigma Kappa convention, Xi Septaton chapter received a Most Improved Chapter Award.
• Current chapter Vice President Steve Dunn received a coveted Order of the Diamond Circle award.  This is one of the highest honors that Phi Sigma Kappa offers its undergraduate members.
• Sean Shingler, long-time Xi Septaton Chapter Advisor and one of the chapter founders, has been given a position on Phi Sigma Kappa's Grand Council.  Brother Shingler will maintain his role as Regional Advisor of Region X but will step back from the role of Xi Septaton Chapter Advisor.
